Mission

Build capability, not only events

The long-term project is more than a workshop archive. It connects practical learning, gatherings, documentation, spatial experimentation, and community participation.

Origins and support

Built from workshops, growing through shared practice

Art/Tech Hack Nights began as a workshop series supported by the 2025 Urbana Arts Grant.

The early sessions created space for artists and technologists to learn together, test tools, compare workflows, and document what they discovered.

This site carries that work forward as an independent public platform for learning, experimentation, events, and community-contributed knowledge.

Project history

The first three sessions

The 2026 workshop series moved between shared fundamentals, remote experimentation, and hands-on systems work.

Ongoing work

A public home for learning and collaboration

The project connects practical guides, gatherings, field notes, spatial experiments, and different ways for people to contribute.

Open by design

Learning materials and project records are organized in portable formats so the community can understand, reuse, and help improve them over time.
